Eotriceratops is a very large terrestrial herbivore. With its massive horns and powerful legs, an Eotriceratops is more than capable of aggressively charging down other creatures.

Description

Eotriceratops is a very large and stockily-built animal. It possesses three prominent horns on its head, two of which sit upon its massive frill. Its tail is rather short.

Paleo Info

Eotriceratops (meaning "dawn three-horned face") is a genus of herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that lived in what is now North America during the late Cretaceous period. Eotriceratops was previously thought to be a giant ceratopsid that was much larger than it actually is, however, this was debunked after paleontologists realized that the skull for Eotriceratops was much larger in proportion to its body than Triceratops which it has been currently based on. Eotriceratops belongs to the tribe Triceratopsini inside the large family of horned dinosaurs Ceratopsidae. It would have been a large animal, measuring 8.5–9 metres (28–30 ft) in length and 10 metric tons (11 short tons) in body mass.

• The Eotriceratops is one of the Three Ceratopsians with the other two being Albertaceratops and Styracosaurus.
