Paleo Info

Tyrannosaurus is a genus of coelurosaurian theropod dinosaur. The species Tyrannosaurus rex (rex meaning "king" in Latin), often called T. rex or colloquially T-Rex, is one of the most well-represented of the large theropods. It lived throughout what is now western North America, on what was then an island continent known as Laramidia. Tyrannosaurus had a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids. Fossils are found in a variety of rock formations dating to the Maastrichtian age of the upper Cretaceous Period, 68 to 66 million years ago. It was the last known member of the tyrannosaurids, and among the last non-avian dinosaurs to exist before the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. Although it could be outpaced quite easily by other creatures, it had a highly developed sense of smell and could track its prey by scent for miles. Tyrannosaurus belongs to the family Tyrannosauridae. it was a massive predator of 40 ft long and weighing about 9-13 tons.

Trivia

Combat Tips

  • Bone Break: Charging up the Bone Breaking attack will leave the dinosaur vulnerable to attacks, as they would be immobile to attack or sprint, meaning you can attack as long as they are healing.
    • Adding the Tyrant Roar will cause most players to kill their attacker in one or two bone breaking attacks which is best used on mid to smaller dinosaurs, as long as the proper stacks are applied.
