Kryptops (Divine Beasts)

Kryptops (meaning "covered face", in reference to evidence that the face bore a tightly-adhering covering) is a genus of theropod Abelisaurid from the Early Cretaceous of Niger. It is known from a partial skeleton found at the Gadoufaoua locality in the western Ténéré Desert, in rocks of the Aptian-Albian age Elrhaz Formation. It has been modded by Divine Beasts Team but originally by Jiggy from The PoT Developer Team and Scorching_Kami.

Kryptops is a genus of abelisaurid theropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of Niger. It is known from a partial skeleton found at the Gadoufaoua locality in the western Ténéré Desert, in rocks of the Aptian–Albian-age Elrhaz Formation. This dinosaur was described by paleontologists Paul Sereno and Stephen Brusatte in 2008. The genus name means "covered face", in reference to evidence that the face bore a tightly adhering covering. The type species is K. palaios, which means "old".

Survival Tips

Kryptops is a powerful bruiser Abelisaur that can run for a while without tiring. It has natural armor as its defense and lots of abilities that allow it to be customizable. Its charge deals damage and low bone break at the cost of a long cooldown, allowing itself or its packmates to catch up to the victim. Its bite is average, and strong enough to be used conveniently. It does have something that no other creature in the game has and it is called Tearing Bite. It allows the user to push and knock the victim in any direction they please.

It is an attacker as it is still too lightweight to be used defensively. As an offensive carnivore, it can use its fast charge to catch up to creatures or use its beast vision to speed itself up.
