Platyhystrix is a small-sized amphibian AI. It acts as a food source for carnivores. It is small and slow with brightly colored skin, which makes its round back sail easy to spot from far away.

Paleo Info

Platyhystrix (meaning "flat porcupine") was a temnospondyl amphibian with a distinctive sail along its back, similar to the unrelated synapsids, Dimetrodon and Edaphosaurus. It lived during the boundary between the latest Carboniferous and earliest Permian periods in Texas, about 300 million years ago. Platyhystrix belongs to the family Dissorophidae.
